Bullying: More than Ignore and Hope it Goes Away

Bullying is a common issue affecting schools every day. Incidents are reported to NDE involving K-12 students and staff as victims and bullies. Prevention and education are key to decrease bullying incidents. This session will address specific steps to be taken by educators and administrators toward bullying and will address possible reproaches when an educator fails to take appropriate steps which could lead to a complaint being filed and subsequent investigation for an ethics violation.
