The elementary schedule dictates key elements of the student experience: a students’ teachers and peers, supports and services, and access to content and instruction. Considerations of instructional time can sometimes pit content areas against another. Even so, when some students have opportunity to learn while others do not, inequity finds a breeding ground. Come learn about “opportunity to learn” as an equity strategy and resources that support equitable elementary scheduling!
